Suki Liebow is an award-winning contemporary artist whose striking, three-dimensional work reimagines humanity’s interconnectedness and invites viewers to embrace the accessibility of joy.
Her career milestones include presenting her debut international solo exhibition, Οίκος (Home): A Study of Joyful Resilience, at the Municipal Gallery of Mykonos in Greece, winning Best in Show at Northern California Arts’ Bold Expressions International Competition, and receiving the Juror’s Choice Award at the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery. Liebow is also a recipient of the ArtSpan SF Open Studios Equity Grant and has been recognized for her public art contributions in Southern California as a lead collaborator, grant recipient, and mural competition finalist.
As a self-taught artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Liebow developed her specialized mixed-media methodology through two decades of independent technical experimentation. Using hand tools to shape fine-gauge wire, she sculpts intricate three-dimensional objects, predominantly depicting regional pollinators, endangered species, and native flora, which she backfills with resin enamel and integrates into her two-dimensional painted compositions.
Rooted in a philosophy that reclaims the heart of humanity from destructive cultural narratives, Liebow continues to expand her international reach with gallery representation in Greece (Athens and Mykonos) as she prepares her next major body of work for an invited solo exhibition in Athens in 2027.
