Suki Liebow is an award winning contemporary artist whose work explores themes of identity, emotion, and what it means to be human. While Suki’s abstract works often lean into exposing inequities to [still] marginalized demographics of humans, her overall work is motivated by her desire to live in a more joyful society where we all feel at home.
Suki’s whimsical, detailed works invite the viewer into a space where [almost] all humans share common ground in the desire to live simple, joyful lives. Suki’s tiny works, sometimes combined into a larger mosaic of human stories, challenge conventional notions of a divisive society and focus instead on bringing humanity together by offering a pause, a reminder, and a tiny respite of joy.
In addition to exhibiting her work both locally and internationally, Suki has been on the board of multiple arts based non-profit organizations and teaches art and creative engagement to a broad range of humans.
She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area and spends her time trying to figure out how to save the world through art.
